Patrick looks back down at the keys. His fingers are perched on ebony keys; his hands curved to form a minor chord with a nice open ring. "I can't tell you," he replies quietly.

It'll take forever to find Patrick in there. He fidgets with his clothes as he walks up. He hasn't had time to change because he just got off work. Fortunately, Patrick is sitting outside on the steps. He looks up when he hears Pete approach, smiling slightly. Pete's eyes are drawn to the familiar black bag slung over Patrick's shoulder.
